Things to do in NYC this fall

Fall is here and NYC is filled with cute and fun things to do! From browsing the farmers market to pumpkin picking in Brooklyn you can fill your weekends in Autumn Bliss! Here are a few of my favorites!

Stroll Through Central Park

Nothing says fall more than seeing the beautiful burnt orange, yellow and red leaves in Central Park. Spend the day strolling around or even meeting friends for a fall picnic.

Some great Instagrammable spots in Central Park

Bethesda Fountain

Bow Bridge, popular for all kinds of photoshoots

The Conservatory Garden (my favorite)

Brooklyn Botanical Garden

I have to be honest, I am such a Harlem Girl and getting me to go to Brooklyn is work but OMG the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is beautiful. With over 52 acres of land and 18,000 different plants from all over the world, there is so much to take in. You can learn so much or just soak up all the beauty it has to offer!

Visit the Farmers Market

The farmers Market in Union Square is the one of the best places to buy and support local businesses. Fresh apple pie, hot cider and honey just to name a few things to taste. This market is open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday but be sure to come early in the day for the best selection of your favorite treats.

Bike or Walk along the Hudson and the Highline

The Hudson River has so many beautiful spots to take in! What is really cool is the bike path that runs the entire way from Battery Park all the way up to the Upper West Side. You can do a day rental with Citi Bike! If biking is not your thing, walking the Highline gives you plenty of views! Once an elevated railway that was transformed into a park, you can see the sites from the West side of the City, take in the architecture and beautiful artwork and stop at local food vendor trucks along the way.

Enjoy Ice cream by the Brooklyn Bridge

Who doesn’t love Ice Cream in the fall? Grab your favorite flavor at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Not into Ice Cream? No worries! They have cookies, Sundays, floats, and more to pick from!

Pumpkin Picking

Is it really even Fall if you didn’t head to at least one pumpkin patch? Head to Green Meadows Farm in Brooklyn for Tractor Rides, Pumpkin Picking and some pretty great Instagram shots! Be sure to get your tickets in advanced because it does fill up quick!
